Introduction :
- Under moderate supervision plans & executes test project, its risks and dependencies
- Mitigate risks to Business through timely, precise automated execution and validation of test plans
- Mitigates / escalates issues to Test Manager or Portfolio Test Lead as appropriate
- Drive test automation throughout the development lifecycle, shifting quality left
- Leading a feature team for Test including all test responsibilities within the cycle such as sizing, scripting, testing (automation & manual) as well as defect management
What will you be doing :
- Create/maintain automated dashboard to support quality view of the application under test
- Execute automated/manual tests as required
- Assist Automation Lead in managing day-to-day test Automation activities, such as test monitoring and status reporting at the end of the testing day
- Responsible for Testing within the Feature team cycle
- Plan for automation suits and execution to against the run plans
- Creating and maintaining Automation test scripts
- Ensure reusability and capture of Metrics
- Ensure constructive working relationships within team
- Execute tests, track, and monitor defects to closure
- Increase coverage of Automation packs and pass rate in the Release Testing cycle as instructed by the Automation Lead
- Build out Virtualised Services as instructed by the Automation Lead

Skill that will help you in this role :
- Has strong integration and data analysis skills to analyse and document system integration requirements after understanding of data and integration model of both upstream and downstream systems
- Some limited experience of the soft· Experience with Java and other automated testing frameworks.
- Hands on experience in automation development and execution using Java, Selenium, Cucumber
- Experience in BDD framework and Ui Automation and API testing.
- Extensive knowledge of Testing lifecycle and core testing process/techniques using different test approaches (provide estimations, design test plan and test strategy, writing test scenarios, cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs)
- Extensive knowledge of Agile Test estimation techniques approaches and processes and of CI / CD and DevOps methodologies
- Experience of using the Git source code control system
Good knowledge in Database SQL queries - Exposure to various file formats
- Knowledge of Industry standard training associated with testing, seleniumExperience of working within a regulatory driven change environment
- Experience using Test or similar Automation Technologies
- Exposure to configuration and change
- Awareness banking applications
- Good communication Skills
- Strong experience and knowledge of all testing processes including defect management
- Automated testing /development background
- Experience of the following:
o Testing across multiple browsers / devices
o Automated test data creation
