Job description :
We are actively recruiting for the position of Graduate Engineering Trainee at our location in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. As a Graduate Engineering Trainee, you will be responsible for the design and development of electrical and electronic components for elevator systems. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure compliance with Otis standards and local code requirements. Additionally, you will participate in testing, execute cost-reduction projects, and drive innovation within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical and electronic components for elevator systems.
- Qualify electrical components/assemblies at the electrical laboratory and test hoist way.
- Participate in the development of Test Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP) and execute testing accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with Otis standards and local code requirements.
- Execute cost reduction projects and ensure timely project releases.
- Develop standard procedures for component test fixtures.
- Promote and maintain safe work practices, following all safety guidelines.
- Focus on timely resolution of any field escapes.
- Perform Root Cause and Corrective Action (RRCA) analysis and provide solutions.
- Drive innovation and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Creative and open-minded approach to problem-solving.
- Strong work ethic, energy, and ability to work well in a team.
- Ethical conduct and commitment to professionalism.
