Responsibilities :
- Lead complex initiatives with broad impact and act as key participant in large scale software planning for the Technology area
- Design, develop, and run tooling to discover problems in data and applications and report the issues to engineering and product leadership
- Review and analyze complex software enhancement initiatives for business, operational or technical improvements that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
- Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted data engineering situations requiring understanding of software package options and programming language and compliance requirements that influence and lead Technology to meet deliverables and drive organizational change
- Strategically collaborate and consult with internal partners to resolve highly risky data engineering challenges
Qualification :
- Should have 7+ years of hands-on development and support experience in one or multiple Data warehousing projects
- Experience in Teradata and Google Cloud is added advantage
- Proficient in SQL and advanced SQL
- Handling various levels of validation processes and assessing problems and issues to ensure activities follow the documented controls
- Conducting analyses including finding root cause and solutions to issues found in data validation
- Proposing recommendations for change to improve future data validation
- Regularly contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards
- Gathering data and preparing necessary reports and artifacts
- Perform data validation, data profiling and mapping for teams
- Defines acceptance criteria and involves in solution validation cycle
- Act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
