Tech Hiring is seeking a skilled and dedicated Test Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad, India. As a Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, platforms, and solutions before deployment to our clients. Your expertise in test case preparation and execution will be essential in meeting our 100% quality assurance parameters.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the test requirements and design test cases for the product
- Create test plans based on business requirements and testable requirements
- Implement Wipro’s way of testing using Model-based testing techniques
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and capture test cases, ensuring version control
- Define the criteria, parameters, and scope of testing, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Automate the test life cycle process using tools such as VB macros, scheduling, and GUI automation
- Design and execute the automation framework and reporting
- Develop and automate tests for software validation, including setting up test environments, designing test plans, and executing test cases/scenarios/usage cases
- Raise test defects with clear descriptions and replication patterns
- Detect and report bugs, preparing defect reports and tracking test progress
- Ensure timely delivery of work items within the specified SLAs and norms
- Provide feedback on usability, serviceability, and quality risks
- Prepare and release test status dashboards to stakeholders at the end of each test execution cycle
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with customers regarding testing and its execution
- Deliver on-time reports and updates to customers, ensuring high-quality interaction through various channels
- Maintain accurate effort tracking in project-related trackers
Stakeholder Interaction:
- Internal:
- Regular reporting and updates with Lead Test Engineer and Project Manager
- Work coordination and support with Software Developers for testing solutions
- External:
- Provide appropriate solutions and support to clients as per their requirements
